Social Investors Partners, the Zurich- and Geneva-based independent philanthropy advisory firm, is pleased to announce that it is now providing comprehensive foundation management and incubation services to our clients. Our company, founded in 2005 and formerly known as “Blatter+Frick”, has been assisting a growing number of foundations, individuals and families whom we have the privilege of accompanying throughout their philanthropic engagements.
The new foundation management and incubation offering is in response to Social Investors’ work with several European foundations and family offices over the past few years. Through our close work with these families, we have realized that many have underestimated the time and resources necessary to launch and operate a family foundation, and could thus benefit from outsourcing some of the foundation’s day-to-day tasks such as communication, project selection, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and more. In commenting on the new service, Social Investors’ co-Founder and Partner, Patrick Frick, said, “a family foundation needs to be able to focus on the larger strategic decisions at hand and use their time efficiently; however, they also need to know that those strategic decisions will be carried out exactly as they envisioned them, without room for error or misinterpretation.”
We are also pleased to inform you that we have recently brought on board additional staff to help us to provide the full spectrum of services demanded by our clients. In particular, we have begun administrating one of our clients’ foundations incubated in our office and organizing that client’s flagship event.
Social Investors Partners accompanies our clients to help maximize the impact of their philanthropic investments. As part of our mission, we aim at enhancing the professionalism in the field of philanthropy; as such, we dedicate our time and passion to assist our clients in going about their engagements strategically to make an impact by design – and not by default. This oftentimes requires driving forward accountability and transparency from all stakeholders – be they foundations, NGOs or government institutions – and ensuring that our clients’ philanthropic investments are measurable both in monetary terms as well as in the social impact that they enable.
